There's something very special about white lilies! These flowers are incredibly beautiful. Once cut and placed in a vase, these beauties last a long time. I love giving lilies. I love receiving lilies. It's the flower that keeps on giving.
It can be a challenge to paint glass especially a vase with stems. It had been awhile since I painted glass, so I took my time. I painted the stems first then I added subtle brush strokes of gray to create the shape of the vase. Then the fun began... adding those wonderful highlights. When I finished, I stood up and walked back about 10 feet. It looked great!
This painting is very beautiful. It would make a lovely addition to your home or office.
