One of my favorite holidays is fast approaching. It's almost Independence Day, the day we celebrate and commemorate the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America. 🇺🇸

There's something very special about this holiday. I love how the day begins with parades. Families gather together at parks and backyards to enjoy their favorite tasty treats. The end of the day brings a beautiful light show of fireworks in the sky. I whisper in my heart a big thank you to God for our country, my family and my cherished friends.

How can I communicate this gratitude through a painting? Well, I sat down and did a quick sketch then painted sweet Albert. My hope is that you enjoy this painting as much as I do.
