Bear Characters

Rudy Oil Painting by artist Trae Mundt. Bearie Blvd. Bears®. Baby brown bear sitting in white highchair wearing orange tee shirt and green bib in kitchen with tile motiff on walls.
I was visiting my Mom in California when the idea for a baby Bearie Blvd. Bears® character was discussed. She has always supported my art endeavors and has been my "go to" person for advice and guidance. We like to brainstorm ideas, and then it's my job to create the character and bring it to life with form and color. I love Rudy's expression and the texture of his fur. I also love his bib - the perfect place for the bear paw. 🐻😊
After I finished the painting I sent a pic to my Mom/Wordsmith. She an expert in the use of words; her language skills impress me! We've worked together for years. I paint and draw, and she titles my work. For this painting Mom chose the name "Rudy." It's perfect!
Who is your "go to" person? How have you been encouraged to follow your dreams? I would love to hear from you.
