Lancaster's Finest - Field of Orange Poppies Surrounded by Tiny Yellow Daisies - State Flower of California

It was a grand day when my husband and I packed up a picnic lunch and drove north to Lancaster, CA to see the golden orange poppies in bloom.

We found a special spot that had a great view being careful not to step on any poppies. I absolutely loved it!

I took lots of pictures. I knew I had to paint this beautiful scene.
