I've loved butterflies since I was a little girl. When my husband and I visited our local butterfly habitat at Springs Preserve a few months ago, I was taken back by the beauty of these fluttering butterflies.

I took many reference photos knowing I would soon paint my first butterfly. Majestic is my first butterfly portrait.
