Do you know a gardener? Are you a gardener? I grew up with two parents who loved to garden. Harvest time couldn't come fast enough for me. That's why I loved planting lettuce seeds!
When I decided to paint a gardening bear I knew it would be fun. She had to wear stylish and functional clothes. She needed a fun wide-brimmed hat to protect her from the sun. She needed a basket to hold all her veggies. And, she needed to be standing in a garden full of vegetables and flowers.
