My husband and I were on a hike near Red Rock in Las Vegas. The scenery was breathtaking. At one of the lookouts, I noticed a beautiful woman walking ahead of me. She was wearing a big colorful scarf. She had very straight long black hair.

That woman inspired this painting.

The woman in my painting is wearing a very bright red scarf and reflective sunglasses. Her skin is golden brown. She's standing in a tranquil scene.

What was my thought when I stood back and looked at the finished painting?

Now I'm inspired by her!
