The yellow rose is a striking flower.

It was an ordinary day. I was busy at home when my husband surprised me with a bouquet of yellow roses. They were beautiful. I wanted them to last forever, so I painted them.

I took six roses from the bouquet and arranged them just like you see them. I used my palette knife to create texture and movement. The background colors of greens and blues create a unified light and harmonious color scheme.
