Sveta holds a special place in my heart.
She was the first bear I painted in my Bearie Blvd. Bears® collection. My first blog post was about Sveta, The Beginning ... the Bearie Blvd. Bears™.
When you zoom in on her picture, you'll see many tiny brush strokes in her leotard and tutu. Her headdress is full of flowers, and she holds her bouquet of roses as she waves to her audience. I had to stop and think (and smile) about how I was going to paint her toe shoes with her bear feet. The painting came together nicely.
