Solo - Poinsettia Art

Solo is a watercolor painting of poinsettia leaves painted in these beautiful colors: brilliant red, cadium red scarlet, pyrrol red, and naphthamide marroon. Look closely in the center, you'll see tiny flowers painted with sap green and indian yellow.

Painting with watercolors is relaxing to me.

I painted Solo "wet on wet" which means wet paint is added to wet paper. I love the simplistic beauty in this painting.
