Georgia State Flower - The Cherokee Rose

The Cherokee Rose is an elegant white flower. I used my gray water-based pens to form the outline and cool gray pens to create the subtle shadows. The colorful golden yellow center was drawn with yellow, gold and orange pens.

With this medium you're not able to erase or fix errors. I spent quality time sketching the flower's outline and details in pencil. Then I added the color one pen stroke at a time.
