The Story of Jorge

I met Jorge in a Goodwill store in Eugene, Oregon. I was shopping for fun gifts for an event I was hosting at my house. When I saw Jorge on the shelf, I knew I needed to buy him. If I didn't buy him, I knew I would regret that decision. 

I took him home and cleaned him up. He was very dusty. I hung him near the front door of our house. He welcomed all our guests. He quickly became a much-loved and appreciated ceramic fixture in our home.

I'm looking forward to sharing all the fun stories about Jorge. Here's a short reel I made for my Instagram feed. He's wearing his very festive Santa Hat and Christmas bow tie.

For years, he has held a very special place in my heart. I smile when I look at him.
